President Director of PT AHM Miki Yamamoto said that despite the global economic crisis is threatening the decline in demand for motorcycles, is optimistic his side two-wheeler market in the country will continue to grow, including in the segment of motor sport.

Based on data from Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI), he said, sales of motorcycle sport has increased quite significantly from year to year. In January-September 2008, this segment contributed as much as 9.7% of total national motor sales, while its contribution to the motorcycle market last year only 7.7%.
